HuddleHop
You can delete your HuddleHop account and personal data at any time, directly in the app.
How to delete your account
- Open the HuddleHop app and sign in.
- Go to Account (riders) or Profile (drivers), then Settings.
- Tap Delete account and confirm with your password.
Your account and personal data are removed straight away. If you cannot access the app, email privacy@huddlehop.org from your registered address and we will process the deletion for you.
What is deleted
- Your profile: name, email address, phone number, saved places and preferences.
- Driver details where applicable: vehicle, licence and identity documents.
- Your account and login.
What is kept
- Past trip records are retained with your name removed (anonymised), as required by Icelandic accounting and transport law.
- Trip location data is automatically deleted 60 days after each trip, in line with the Icelandic Taxi Act.
- Records we are legally required to keep are retained only for the period the law requires.
